October 9, 2019. The early registration deadline is approaching: October 10, 11:59PM EDT. Directly register here. Notice that each paper in the proceedings (main conference or workshop) needs to (i) have at least one author registered by the early registration deadline and (ii) have been presented at the conference, in order for the paper to be included in the proceedings.

September 23, 2019. We published our policy regarding remote presentations.

September 22, 2019. The EMNLP-IJCNLP 2019 registration is now open. Directly register or first see detailed registration information.

September 20, 2019. We also provide online forms for hotels and transfer now.

September 19, 2019. For students participating in the conference, accomodation in a shared room is provided at a reduced rate.

September 15, 2019. We have published a list of hotels remote from the protesting areas and advise participants to book one of these hotels. Some big hotels are close to the venue. For hotels closer to downtown, coaches will be provided.

SIGDAT, the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL) special interest group on linguistic data and corpus-based approaches to NLP, and the AFNLP, the Asian Federation of Natural Language Processing, invite you to participate in the 2019 Conference on Empirical Methods in Natural Language Processing (EMNLP) and 9th International Joint Conference on Natural Language Processing (IJCNLP) in Hong Kong, China.

EMNLP-IJCNLP 2019 will be held at the Asia World Expo in Hong Kong from November 3rd through November 7th, 2019.
